In the Moon-White Land of God
SOMEONE leads me
through the ame-paved ways
To a moon-white land of God,
Where the shadow-calls of earth-weariness
Have but in a dream-mist trod.
Blue-grey clouds like rainbow-plumed birds
Voyage slowly in the air;
Like re-point torches icker starry words
Burning in a diamond prayer.
In foam-eece
billow-ranges of the sky
Through their rocky gates of gold
Tracks of my souls rugged journey lie
To thy heavens immortal fold.
Make my heart thy
home and lead to the far
Vision where thy timeless breath
Glows beyond the sapphire-winged star
In the tranquil dome of Death.
